Built for Daniel.
Built for ReGloss.

Daniel, you told us I do all the creative myself right now. You bring cars into the warehouse, shoot them, and cut the ads. Bottom-of-funnel ads come easy, and top of funnel is where it gets hard. You want to be spending double, triple what you spend now, but it's hard to get the creative to do that. This page is how we’d fix that: what’s running in your buyer’s feed, what we heard on the call, how we’d plan the work, and the price.

Sun damage first, then new buyers from your reviews.

What’s live · Meta Ad Library, October 28, 2026

0 of 136 car-care ads sell a fix for failing clearcoat.

We pulled every active US ad from four car-care brands your buyer also sees in the feed. They sell washing, polishing and ceramic protection for paint that’s still in good shape. Fixing paint that’s already failing is all ReGloss does, and none of the 136 ads we pulled is selling it.

Ads that sell a fix for failing clearcoat

Counted out of each brand’s live ads. The closest are 3 Chemical Guys ads for polishing out scratches, which takes clearcoat off instead of putting it back.

Meta Ad Library, active US ads, pulled October 28, 2026. We read every ad whose copy mentions clearcoat, oxidation, fading or restoring. None of them sells a fix for clearcoat that has already failed.

Customer-quote cards rank near the top

From SelfMade’s swipe file (October 26, 2026): 356 top statics across 91 DTC brands. A customer-quote card typically ranks between 3rd and 4th in its brand’s account, and 57% sit in that brand’s top 5. You have 59 reviews to build them from.

Ethos Car Care

Talking to your DIY buyer, about ceramic.

48 live ads · 30 statics, 18 videos

35 of the 48 are written to DIY detailers and 13 are about ceramic. Most are long first-person stories: “Hey DIY Detailers”, “I Put the Application Date on Every Bottle”. That shows your buyer will read a long story about car care. None of the 48 sells a fix for paint that’s already failing.

Adam’s Polishes

The most ads, and none about restoring paint.

53 live ads · 16 image, 15 video, 19 dynamic

Store visits, wash tools and product catalog ads. A lot of volume aimed at the person who already keeps a clean car.

Chemical Guys

Mostly catalog ads.

24 live ads · 22 dynamic catalog ads

Meta builds them from the product catalog. The closest any of them gets: 3 ads for a polishing kit that removes scratches.

Griot’s Garage

Polishers and wash days.

11 live ads

New polishers, and “Set the stage for paint perfection with a thorough wash, dry, and detail.” Nothing for someone whose clearcoat is already coming off.

Your ad we saw, live since Oct 20“Skip The Repaint.”

This is the right argument to lead with. It’s a static that puts the body shop against ReGloss and leans on your 4.77 star rating. Almost nobody else in the feed makes that argument. We’d build more ads around it, with your customers’ own words making the claim: the $1,400 quote for two panels on a Tacoma, the $2,800 to $3,400 from two body shops for an F-150.

Source: Meta Ad Library, active ads in the US, pulled October 28, 2026 for Ethos Car Care, Adam’s Polishes, Chemical Guys and Griot’s Garage. Dynamic means Meta builds the ad from a product catalog. Review quotes are from regloss.com. Once we’re onboarded with Meta access, we tag every ad ReGloss has run since February.

What we heard on the call

Four things you said, and what we’d do.

Your words from October 28, and what the work does about each one.

Spend · scaling
“I want to be spending double, triple what I'm spending right now ... it's hard to get the creative to do that.”
Daniel, on the call

At about $25K a month and a $100 to $110 Meta CAC, putting more money behind the same few ads mostly buys the same people again. Spend grows when there are more ads that work, aimed at more kinds of buyers. Starter gives you 8 new concepts a week, so every week there’s something new to put money behind.

Your time · editing
“I do all the creative myself right now.”
Daniel, on the call

You shoot the cars, cut the edits, and wait on an editor you called slow as molasses. We write the briefs and build the finished ads. Briefs land on Monday and the ads arrive the Friday after, every week. The car days you already shoot at the warehouse go further, because we build more ads from each one.

Funnel · top of funnel
“I can easily make bottom of funnel ads ... But cutting through top of funnel ... is probably where the challenge is.”
Daniel, on the call

Your bottom-of-funnel ads work on people who already know their clearcoat is failing and are shopping for a fix. Top of funnel has to reach the person staring at a peeling hood who thinks a repaint is the only option. We test those buyers with statics first. If a static sells to someone who’s never heard of ReGloss, the market is there, and that static earns a video.

Who buys · new buyers
“we primarily market right now to sun damage because we can differentiate really easily with that”
Daniel, on the call

Sun damage stays the core. It’s where the change is easiest to see. The new buyers we’d test come from your reviews and your site: owners of older trucks that sat outside (a 2012 Tacoma in Texas, a 2008 Sequoia), the person who just got a repaint quote, the house with a Tundra and a Pilot to do, people getting a car ready to sell, and detailers like Ocean Glow who want to offer it as a service.

You also said buyers got to actually be willing to do some work. So the ads are honest that this is a weekend job. Buyers who know it’s a Saturday of prep going in don’t feel misled, which also keeps refunds down.

Every ad stays inside what the kit really does. No “wipe on and done”. Prep and a Saturday get shown, ReSolver comes in wherever the clearcoat is peeling, and nothing promises a new paint job. The big claims come from your customers, in their words, the way your site already says It's not a paint job.
How we’d plan it

The 60/20/20 Will walked you through.

Every week’s batch follows the same split. Most of it builds on what already sells, some of it rebuilds a winner in a new format, and a fixed share tests a buyer you haven’t reached yet. You put it simply on the call: people want to know does it work is it real or is it a scam. Every ad answers that question for one kind of buyer.

60%
Iterations

Keep the buyer and the format that work, and change the angle, to find out how far that buyer goes.

  • Sun damage, with the repaint math: $249 against a $3,500 to $8,000 quote
  • Sun damage, with the honest Saturday: what the prep looks like, hour by hour
  • Sun damage, with “is it real” answered by the photos and reviews
20%
Reskins of winners

We take a winner and put the same message in a new format. These have the highest hit rate and the shortest shelf life.

  • “Skip The Repaint.” rebuilt as a customer-quote card
  • Your best hood before-and-after, as a static
  • A winning static turned into a video from your warehouse footage
20%
New buyers

We test each one with statics first, and a static that wins earns a video.

  • Older trucks and SUVs that sat outside for years
  • The person holding a repaint quote, and the house with two cars to do
  • Sellers getting a car ready, and detailers adding a service
$1,000of spend = 1 new concept

Will’s rule of thumb from the call: for every thousand dollars you're spending, you want to test a net new concept. At $30K a month that’s about 30 new concepts a month. Starter is 8 a week, 32 a month.

The cadence: briefs on Monday for you to review, finished ads the following Friday, a shared Slack channel and a call every two weeks. The first month is mostly statics, so we learn which buyers respond. Once a static wins, it gets a video.

Proof

Same method, other accounts.

Three SelfMade accounts. Will brought up two of them on the October 28 call. Same method we’d run for you: the buyer first, then the angle, then the format.

New buyers, layered on
One client we started with in June, they were spending 200K a month ... now they're at 1.2 million a month.
Will, on the callThe growth came from finding two or three new kinds of buyer and layering them on top of what already worked.
A winner nobody was using
they had this persona of like gut health, gut health seeker, and like it was running at a three, and their goal is like a 1.1 ROAS
Will, SelfMadeA protein brand. The first three weeks of briefs went to that one persona, and the account filled with winners. Most accounts have a learning like this sitting in them.
Pushing deeper into a persona that works
their goal of ROS is like a 0.8 and their CAC goal is like $130. So if we're doing a 1.44, like we are feeling really, really good
Will, on the callAn oral-care brand. Same persona (a parent with a child learning to brush), new angles each week: 60% of the work iterates on what’s already converting.
